Grok Bot Data Bot expands access to company data science

SpaceXSI says its Data Bot can query warehouses, run analyses and support product, marketing and revenue teams through shared Team Bot skills.
SpaceXSI says it has built Data Bot, a shared Team Bot in Grok Bot designed to give employees access to data science support around the clock. In the company’s account, the tool can query its warehouse, run analyses and return results in the format a user prefers, while reducing the bottleneck created by a small central data team.
Evidence and context
According to the company’s article published on Nov. 2, 2026, the data science team taught Data Bot how it works through a set of shared skills covering core metrics and analysis, experiments, charts and dashboards, and data engineering. Those skills include the logic behind measures such as active users and revenue, methods for investigating changes in metrics, A/B test procedures, charting conventions, dashboard creation and dbt practices. The company said Data Bot also has shared memory so it can retain knowledge learned from day-to-day use, with managers able to review proposed memory additions before they are shared more broadly.
SpaceXSI said the bot is intended to help product managers and marketers answer questions without waiting on the data team. The company cited Kevin Niparko, a product manager, saying he can message the bot in Grok Bot, get an answer in minutes and follow up without starting a new analysis. The article also quoted Jon Brenner, who works on lifecycle marketing, saying he uses Data Bot as an on-call analyst to examine what recipients did after a Braze campaign. For a recent launch of The X Subscription, he asked the bot to track how many email recipients switched plans, because Braze’s built-in conversion metric did not answer that question.
The company said Katy Abbaszadeh, its director of revenue growth, uses Data Bot to measure the impact of events on sales, monitor weekly progress against targets, investigate slowdowns and turn results into charts for presentations. SpaceXSI said the bot can also handle broader analytics workflows, including planning an analysis, querying the warehouse, exploring explanations and producing written output. A related company report published on Nov. 2 said Data Bot handled 70 hours of data science work in the prior week, though that figure was presented by the company and was not independently audited.
The announcement said human data scientists will continue to handle complex analyses that require more judgment. The article did not specify pricing, rollout timing beyond the Nov. 2 publication date, or whether the tool is available outside SpaceXSI.
