NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW introduces DLSS 4.5 controls, expanded device support, and five AAA titles at Gamescom 2026. Here’s what gamers need to know.
NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW unveiled a slate of upgrades at Gamescom 2026, including the integration of DLSS 4.5 controls, expanded device compatibility, and the addition of five major PC games to its cloud gaming library. These developments aim to push the boundaries of streaming gameplay, giving Ultimate members access to RTX 5080-class performance without the need for hardware upgrades.
DLSS 4.5 introduces advanced features like Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction. These technologies enhance image quality, reduce latency, and improve ray-traced visuals, enabling gamers to fine-tune their experience based on performance or graphical fidelity. While DLSS 4.5 was first launched for local RTX GPUs earlier this year, its rollout within GeForce NOW represents a significant milestone for cloud gaming by bringing these next-gen features to the cloud.
GeForce NOW is also broadening its reach with support for Amazon Fire TV devices, Firefox browsers, and community-requested Steam Machine integration. GOG single sign-on further simplifies access to titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, allowing players to sync their libraries and launch games with one click. These upgrades reinforce NVIDIA’s push to make gaming more accessible across a variety of platforms.
Highlighting the Gamescom announcements are five new AAA games launching on GeForce NOW: CONTROL Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and STAR WARS Zero Company. Notably, Ultimate members can secure a free copy of CONTROL Resonant with a 12-month Ultimate membership, an offer valid through September 27. These titles bolster GeForce NOW’s already impressive library, which includes over 1,600 games.
For gamers, the ability to stream titles like STAR WARS Zero Company at up to 5K resolution with ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex is a game-changer. By offloading rendering to NVIDIA’s RTX-powered cloud servers, GeForce NOW removes the need for expensive local hardware upgrades, offering a high-end gaming experience on a wide array of devices.
In addition to these enhancements, NVIDIA is running a community giveaway to celebrate Gamescom, featuring over 40 prizes including gaming hardware and Ultimate memberships. Details are available on the GeForce NOW Reddit page.
As NVIDIA continues to innovate with technologies like DLSS 4.5 and expand its GeForce NOW platform, it’s clear the company is doubling down on cloud gaming as the future of the industry. For gamers, this means more ways to play, fewer barriers to entry, and access to cutting-edge performance—without the need to own the latest hardware.
